I am Christine McKinney

Quadra Island is the place I have called home for the last 4 years and has been an endless source of inspiration in my life, my daily painting practice and my art.
I am a self taught, multi-disciplinary artist who works in acrylic and oil painting, as well as glass mosaic.
Local birds, animals, flowers, landscapes and still life are all subjects I am drawn to paint.
My job as an island dog walker organically grew into custom pet portraiture.
My colour pallette is usually bold and bright and I am most happy expressing myself in brushstrokes.
