I am Thomas Butler Anderson

I moved to Quadra Island in 2019 from Ontario and instantly knew I had found my home. Never before had I lived on land so enriching to my life. The joy I have found here has led me to explore beyond the mundane aspects of work and responsibility, to a place where my imagination can bloom, unfettered.

To this end, I have spent the past year building an alternate historic world—one rooted in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, yet evolved along very different lines than our own. As a lifelong student of history, science, and technology, I have long dreamed of a game in which reason triumphed over ideology, and order was restored not through conquest, but clear, stoic, vision.

I do not believe anyone who has lived on Quadra has escaped the way this rock shapes flesh, emotion, and outlook. It seeps into you, changing you in quiet, undeniable ways.
