An Introduction to Vyvyan Dorsett

Vyvyan is one of the premier fiber artists in British Columbia, residing on Quadra Island, B.C.

Her work displays an impressive collection of uniquely crafted, woven garments. For over 40 years, Vyvyan has handspun, hand-dyed, and handmade all of her work using exotic fibers such as merino, silk, mohair, cashmere, alpaca, qiviut, and bamboo.

Her choice of colors and devotion to perfection are reflective of her Japanese heritage. Along with her own work, Vyvyan continues to host workshops for accomplished weavers and spinners and acts as a mentor to those who share her love of fine work.

The passion that is evident in Vyvyan's work makes it a pure pleasure to own one of her pieces.
